Richcraft Sensplex

About the Project

The Richcraft Sensplex project involved the construction of three new NHL-sized ice pads and an extensive renovation of the older, outdated Potvin Arena, to create a new, comprehensive four-pad arena. The facility needed to be durable, meet LEED® Certification standards and contain all of the necessary amenities required of a community building, including food and beverage facilities, a pro shop, meeting rooms, and leasable space. The 157,000 sq. ft. facility was completed in 2014 and won an Award of Excellence from the General Contractors Association of Ottawa.
